Full List of Razzie Award Winners, Or Losers, Depending How You Look at It

2021 Razzie Award Winners
2021 Razzie Award Winners

It’s award season, where we applaud the best films of the year. But this is America. The land of the free, home of the brave, and the only country that antagonizes its losers as much as they celebrate their winners. Ladies and gentleman, last night the Golden Raspberry Awards were held.

For those that don’t know, The Razzies honor the worst of cinematic un-achievements. It was co-founded in 1981 by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy. The statuette features a ping-pong ball sized raspberry atop a twisted Super 8mm film reel spray-painted gold. Currently, Sylvester Stallone is the most-awarded actor with 10 awards with Madonna a close second holding 9 awards.

This year’s Razzies were quite special. Rudy Giuliani picked up a Best Supporting Actor win for his “work” in “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.” Sia’s controversial film “Music” picked up three awards, and rightfully so. If your film has an autistic protagonist, hire an autistic actress. Also, in keeping with their theme of honoring the dishonorable, the Razzies unveiled the special “Governor’s Award” this year. It was given to 2020 for being the worst calendar year ever.
