In anticipation of “A Quiet Place Part II” hitting theaters this week, director John Krasinski decided to surprise viewers with an appearance. The film is set to open wide this coming Friday, however some places with early screenings are receiving an extra little surprise.

After over a year of theater closures in most places, Krasinski decided to celebrate the big return. In Miami, John Krasinski surprised fans watching his new film and taking pictures outside. He posted a brief video of his journey on Instagram

But he didn’t stop there. Popping up in Cleveland just a bit later, he once again photobombed his way through “A Quiet Place Part II” showings. He also posted some clips of this adventure to his Instagram.

“A Quiet Place Part II” is already receiving rave ratings. It currently holds a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film follows the Abbott family as they travel beyond their original hideout but will briefly jump back to life before the crisis. We assume that’s just to give John Krasinski some much deserved screen time.

Krasinski is also encouraging fans to come back to the movie theater for all the movies, giving a boost to the reopening theaters. “A Quiet Place Part II” is a film that is made for theaters with its impressive sound design. If that wasn’t enough, going to see the film in theaters means there’s a chance John Krasinski will surprise you!
