'Roma' Takes Top Honors at LA Film Critics Award

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association announced the winners of their annual awards Sunday with ‘Roma’ taking top honors for Best Picture.

Debra Granik won the Best Director award for ‘Leave No Trace,’ while Ethan Hawke continues to receive accolades and stir up Oscar nomination talk for ‘First Reformed,’ the little-seen but highly regarded picture written and directed by Paul Schrader.

The LAFCA will honor its winners January 12 at a gala dinner in Century City, where Japanese director and animator Hayao Miyazaki will receive the Career Achievement award.
