72nd Annual BAFTA Award Winners

Alfonso Cuarón’s ‘Roma’ won the Best Film at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday. Fox Searchlight’s ‘The Favourite,’ which led all nominees going in with 12, won a leading seven trophies as the two films with the most Oscar nominations this year battled it out on at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Cuaron won a record four personal BAFTAs for a single film from a record six personal nominations, including best director and cinematography. ‘Roma’ also won for film not in the English language.
