Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone are legends in the moviemaking business as an illustrious film director and score composer, respectively.
Not only did they grow up together, but the duo are forever intertwined in their careers in that the turning point in Morricone's career took place in 1964, when Leone hired him to create a distinctive score to accompany the western classic ‘A Fistful of Dollars’.
The release of ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ subsequently popularized the so-called Spaghetti Western genre and the success of the “Dollars Trilogy” followed. Check out this awesome video featuring the duo and their trilogy below.
