Monty Python's Terry Jones Unable to Speak Due to Advanced Dementia
Terry Gilliam shared the sorrowful news regarding his friend, quashing any hopes that the comedy troupe would ever reunite again. The five surviving members, which also includes Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese, reunited for a special live event in 2014, but Gilliam says there's no chance it'll ever happen again.
"There's no chance of us doing a reunion. There's only four of us left that really function now. And that is not Python, so there's no point,” he said.
The Pythons created some of the world's most legendary and uproarious comedy sketches of all time, including a number of hit movies, particularly the Life Of Brian and The Holy Grail.
Gilliam is currently working on a new Amazon Prime Video series titled ‘Good Omens,’ and says the others are also busy doing their own projects for the time being.
