The Best Shots of All Time - Part 1
Continuing a 3 year run of superb deep dive movie analysis, CineFix is finally calling its shots—specifically, the best movie shots of all time.
Cinefix’s process for compiling the entrants is mindbogglingly extensive and thorough. They collected close to 1000 of their favorite shots, categorized them, then made the tough choices you see in this video.
This is the first of three parts in a series that looks at all the different types of shots, how they're used and why. They begin the series of the Best Shots of All Time by looking at size, breaking down some of the best close ups, mediums, wide shots and extremes in film history. But it's not all about looking pretty: they dive deep into how and why each kind of shot is used.
