This Is Not One of Those ‘MOOD’ Posts

You know the kind of post I’m talking about. On Facebook or Twitter or Reddit in which someone writes “MOOD:” then includes a photo that draws on some kind of emotion, whether it be happiness or boredom or dejection, etc.

I’m not going to do one of those MOOD posts because I find them to be cheesy. Except when they are rather well done. And topical. And funny. And related to movies in some way. Then I might make an exception.

Like with this image of Bernie from the inauguration combined with one of my favorite movies of all time, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.”

In this case, I might make an exception, but probably not. MOOD posts are rarely good enough to post on social media, much less on a website as cultured and esteemed as Metaflix.com. Nope, not gonna do it.

So you’ll just have to find your daily dose of MOOD posts somewhere else, like BROblog or FUNNYgag or whatever the new hot site of the month is. That’s just the way it has to be. Now move along.
