‘Halloween Kills’ Give Us One Last Killer Trailer

The release of the long awaited “Halloween Kills” is coming and coming fast. To celebrate, or warn us, Universal Studios has uploaded a new and final trailer. It gives us one last tease of the slasher sequel before it’s too late and streaming on Peacock. (Peacock! Anything but Peacock!)

The synopsis of the film reads, “The Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet. Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.”

It’s sure to be a “Halloween” to remember. This is the second part in what is meant to be a trilogy, so how they up the ante and keep the momentum for the third one going will be interesting to see. Will this be “Empire Strikes Back” or will it be “Attack of the Clones?” I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Halloween Kills will release in theaters and through paid tiers of the Peacock streaming platform on Oct 15, 2021.
