The latest and final trailer for the next Bond film “No Time to Die” has dropped. Like another perpetually delayed spy film, “Black Widow,” this final trailer is more a reminder that this movie hasn’t come out yet, rather than a showcase of anything new. One thing the trailer did emphasize is we are not prepared for what is to come.
The film’s synopsis reads, “James Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.” Unless that new tech opens up the Bondverse and we get a Brosnan cameo, it’s safe to assume it’s just another space laser.
Daniel Craig will be reprising his role along with other familiar faces to the franchise such as Ralph Fiennes, Jeffery Wright, Christoph Waltz, and Léa Seydoux. Some newcomers that are sure to spice things up are Ana De Armas, Lashana Lynch, and Rami Malek.
“No Time to Die” is slated to release in theaters only on October 8th, 2021. Here’s hoping Bond’s time has finally come.
