Sony really milked the hype for this one. It’s not like every movie announces it’s trailer drop time alongside a guide to know what time it’ll arrive for you in whatever part of the world you’re in. Fortunately for me, I am on the west coast and got to feast my eyes a bit earlier than most.
Well, the wait is over. The final trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has dropped and the hype for it could not have been greater. So, did it deliver? YES … and no.
If you are looking for them to show their hand and reveal the two other Spider-Men, well, I guess we’ll just have to wait the month until release. Yes, there was no Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, but by the way Doc Ock talked, we know they exist and are out there.
It seems Marvel wants to keep this reveal for the December 17th release and you know what I can respect that. I hate it … but respectfully. The trailer is otherwise solid and raises the stakes of the film greatly. Not to mention, we get good guy Otto, which I just love.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” will release in theaters nationwide on Dec. 17th, 2021.
