The official, and likely final, trailer for Edgar Wright’s horror film is here and it’s sure to be one wild and trippy ride from the looks of it. The “Baby Driver” director had previously delved into horror with his dark comedy, “Shaun of the Dead,” but has never made anything squarely in the genre before.
The synopsis of the film reads, “An aspiring fashion designer is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer. But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something darker.” What these dark secrets are is sure to be a fright to find out.
The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Thomasin McKenzie, and Matt Smith. “Last Night in Soho” will be released exclusively in theaters on Oct. 29, 2021. It was originally slated for release in September of 2020 and then April of 2021. Fortunately, the weekend of Halloween should be the perfect time to debut Edgar Wright’s long-awaited horror smash.
