New Trailer for Soderbergh’s Star-Studded Heist Thriller ‘No Sudden Move’

No Sudden Move New Trailer
HBO Max

A new trailer has been released for the highly anticipated HBO Max original film, “No Sudden Move.” The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh (“Ocean’s Eleven,” “Magic Mike”) and looks to have a star-studded ensemble cast.

The film’s synopsis is, “In 1954 Detroit, small-time criminals are hired to steal a document. When their heist goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them — and for what purpose — sends them wending through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city.” The trailer gives us a great glimpse at this concept as well as witty dialogue, interesting costumes, and compelling character dynamics.

Don Cheadle will star alongside Benicio Del Toro in what is sure to be a fascinating buddy-criminal relationship. Hot off of “Stranger Things” and soon “Black Widow,” David Harbour is also playing a major role.

Brendan Fraser can be seen in the trailer in his menacing supporting role, continuing an interesting pivot from his early career as a Hollywood leading man. Rounding out the ensemble is Ray Liotta, Kieren Culkin, Julia Fox, and Jon Hamm.

The film is going to be a centerpiece at the Tribeca Film Festival. It will be available to stream on HBO Max on July 1st.
