Bill Murray swung by the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday evening and nonchalantly revealed the title of Wes Anderson’s next film: “Asteroid City.”

Over the course of the past couple of months, Metaflix has reported extensively on Wes Anderson’s next project while the world waits for his current flick, “The French Dispatch,” to premiere worldwide. Headlines have included “Tilda Swinton Reveals Wes Anderson’s Next Shooting Location,” “Bill Murray To Co-Star In Wes Anderson’s Next Film Set In Spain,” “Tom Hanks Boards the Wes Anderson Train, Joins His Next Movie,” and “Margot Robbie Joins Wes Anderson’s Spain Squad.”

Now, the mystery title of the Spain-shot film is finally known, with Murray leaving the meaning of the title up to everyone else’s imagination.

“It’s the usual cast of characters,” said Murray of “Asteroid City,” speaking to LFF director Tricia Tuttle following a screening of “The French Dispatch.” “We’re shooting it in Spain, about 45 minutes from Madrid. It’s fun out there, we’re having a nice time.”

”That’s what we do in showbusiness – we just say the name and people will clap,” quipped Murray. “It has no meaning whatsoever… I flew in from Spain. I want to get my money’s worth.”

However, fans know that everything in a Wes Anderson film has meaning, especially their titles. Therefore it’s safe to assume that the invocation of asteroids will likely play a part in the film.

In addition to Murray, “Asteroid City” stars Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Wright, Rupert Friend, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Hope Davis, Liev Schreiber, Jason Schwartzman and Tony Revolori.
